(BVP CET FOR LAW) BHARATI VIDYAPEETH COMMON ENTRANCE TEST:

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has covers BBA LLB, BA LLB, and 3-year LLB programs. The application process for BVP CET Law will announced every year in the official website – bvuniversity.edu.in.

Eligibility Criteria:

For BBA LLB, BA LLB –

Percentage required in 10+2 or equivalent exam, for General – 50% marks/equivalent grade and for SC/ST category/ Persons with disabilities – 45% marks/equivalent grade.
Candidates who are taking the 12th or equivalent qualifying exam or waiting for results are also eligible to apply and take the exam.

For 3 years LL.B –

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) from any of the recognized universities.
The age of the Candidates must not be beyond 20 years (22 years for reserved category).

For LL.M –

Candidates must have completed LLB or five-year integrated LLB from recognised university.
Percentage required for General – 50% marks/equivalent grade and for SC/ST category/ Persons with disabilities – 45% marks/equivalent grade

Exam Pattern:

B.B.A. LLB (5 Yrs), BA LLB (5 Yrs), LLB (3 Years) :

The test is conducted in online mode. It’s a computer-based MCQ test.
The candidates must reached on the designated exam centre.
The examination duration lasting for 120 minutes (2 hours).
The total number of questions are around 100 approximately.
Each correct answer usually carries 1 mark.
There is no negative marking.

LL.M :

The test is conducted in online mode. It’s a computer-based MCQ test.
The candidates must reached on the designated exam centre.
The examination duration lasting for 120 minutes (2 hours).
The law entrance test paper is worth 140 marks, while the group discussion carries 60 marks. The BVP LL.M Entrance Test Paper will have a total of 200 marks.
Each correct answer usually carries 1 mark.
There is no negative marking.

B.B.A. LLB (5 Yrs), BA LLB (5 Yrs), LLB (3 Years):

Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning – The questions may be asked on blood relations, series, directions, critical reasoning, syllogism, analogy me,ntal ability and logical/mathematical analysis, deductive reasoning, odd-even discretion, logical fallacy, analogy, syllogism, agreement and disagreement
English Language, Usage & Comprehension – This section focused on reading comprehension, word usage, vocabulary, grammar, inference-based questions, synonyms, antonyms, foreign words/phrase, para jumbles etc.
Legal Reasoning – The questions may came from legal terms, Indian constitution, its structure, sections and schedules, contracts and constitutional law, torts, vicarious liability, contracts and constitutional law, IPC and the Cr.P.C., strict liability, law of crimes, international law, intellectual property rights, legal awareness covering constitutional law and polity
Current Legal News & General Knowledge – This section basically focuses on, major developments in the areas of sports, current affairs, eminent personalities, sports, awards and honours.
Social Sciences with an emphasis on Indian Constitution & Political System in India – The questions may be asked from Indian ancient, medieval and modern history, international events, geopolitics and important environmental agreements etc.

LL.M: The questions may ask fromConstitutional Law of India, Jurisprudence, Law of Contracts (General Principles), Criminal Law, International Law & Human Rights, Law of Torts, Family Law of Marriage & Divorce.

Application Procedure:

The exam notification will be publish in their official website: bvuniversity.edu.in.
Candidate shall register himself/herself online on the website.
The candidate must upload all the required documents

The candidate should provide his/ her basic details, educational details, course offered, exam city preference, mobile number, and email address in the application.
Pay the registration fee to complete the registration process and take a printout of the payment receipt.

Application Fees:

The payment should be made online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking.
The registration fees is Rs. 1500/- (One thousand five hundred rupees) for all.
Ensure compliance with terms and conditions provided on the website.

Documents to be uploaded:

Scanned images of the candidate’s recent passport-size photograph and signature.
Any other documents according to the website guideline.

Admit Card:

The university will released the admit card a few weeks before the exam date on their official website.
Only registered candidates can download the admit card from the university’s website.
The admit card must be carried in the exam and counselling.

Results:

The exam officials will announce the results on the university’s official website.
Candidates can check their results by logging in with their registered email ID and password.
